What Causes Painful Swollen Arm?

I spent the day digging yesterday. The elbow inside of my right arm is swollen and it is painful to straighten it all the way. I searched the internet and believe I have tendonitis. I m planning on going to the Dr on Monday. Show I be worried and go to the er instead?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are probably having muscular pain/tendinitis due to overwork you did by digging whole day. Treatment of it is rest to joint and analgesic such as ibuprofen. Vitamin B and C will help in recovery. It does not seems to be urgent to me.It does not require to go to a/e immediately. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you good health. Take care.
