Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I go to gym every day i use the elipticil mostly , and aweek ago woke up one morning with hip pain and also pain in the back thigh from top to bottom realy sharp pain it lasted for week then finley went to see docter they took xrays they find any thing on the xrays what could be the proplem please some one help me
Thank you for your question on HCM. From the history you have provided ,it doesn't seem to be anything serious.Since you go the gym,it could be a simple muscle pull(spasm of the hamstrings).,especially since the xrays are normal. for the muscle spasm , if the pain is troubling you too much you can take tab.Etova MR w=twice a day for five days, also you could avoid exercise which is strainful to your hamstrings for another four to five days. Hope this information was helpful to you. Regards, Dr.Radhika
