What Causes Painful Tightness On The Vaginal Opening In A Cervical Cancer Survivor?
Hi I had cervical cancer 10 years ago and had all the treatment ,chemo and radiation .I now find that the opening of my vaginal seems to be smaller tight and painful during interiors. Also the skin between my an us and vaginal is very tight .at the moment my an us is very sore and feels like there is blisters there. Is this normal
After chemotherapy and radiation of cervical cancer, the skin around vagina and cervix become tight and slightly eroded so it is normal to have skin problem around the perineal region after chemotherapy and radiation.so you have to take normal lotion for eroded skin and dry skin. it also depends on your age and skin condition also level of cervical cancer affects the outcome.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
