What Causes Painful Urination Along With White Sediments In Urine?

Hi, I have been having cloudy , foul smelling urine for just over a year, I was told I was clear of UTI , ghonoreah, and clamidyia, my urge to pee has become VERY urgent and painful, and am now noticing white sediment in my urine. I am HIV positive, but undetectable for over a year. Any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with painful urination following passage of white crystal from a diagnosed HIV infection I will suggest you have developed a HIV nephropathy

In view of this please do a renal ultrasound and schedule an appointment with a nephrologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

I hope this helps Regards
