What Causes Painful Urination And Blood In Urine During Pregnancy?
My sister is pregnant,about 8 weeks now.but she had a pain when urinating and bloody urine prior to the pregnancy and it persisted with the pregnancy.She saw a dr. Who gave her clotrinova -VT vaginal Pessaries and Gebexime 500 .she used the drugs but is bleeding this morning

It is my pleasure to answer your query here. There is urinary tract infection which is preexisting from the period before pregnancy. Cure needs salient guidelines as:
- hydration with plenty of liquids
- local hygiene care with sitz bath of Epsom salt
- antibiotics of pregnancy category A and culture sensitivity of urine
- avoidance of vaginal intercourse (which can provoke infection)
