Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Painful Urination And Urge To Urinate From Clitoris?
I noticed that the colour of my urine is too thick so I increased my water intake nd I observed that I visit the rest room more often but the colour became clear, I feel the urge to urinate always from my clitoris and my urine burns me.... I feel no pain in the lower part of my stomach.... What is wrong with me?
I read your question carefully and I understand your situation.
The way you describe your symptoms, I think that you have an lower urinary tract infection. Since you don't have any other associated symptoms like pain or fever, it is an uncomplicated form of it.
I recommend to drink a lot of fluids, especially cranberry products. The first 24-48 hours in uncomplicated lower urinary tract inflammation, antibiotics are not recommended. But after this time you should consider antibiotics like Bactrim, beside fluid intake.
I think that with the recommandation given above you will be fine. But in case your symptoms persist or are getting worse, I recommend an urinalysis with ultrasound of kidneys and bladder.
I hope my information was helpful. Best regards
