What Causes Painful Urination, Fever, Chills And Pain In Lower Back?

My husband and i are in a monogamous relationship and have been for years, so we are not concerned with an std but a few weeks ago he had a small fever and chills with pain in the lower right side of his back that radiated to his groin area. Now he has painful urination. What could be the cause?

Hi,
From history it seems that he might be having chronic urinary tract infection giving rise all symptoms typical of UTI.
Go for routine urine check up.
After report your doctor will go for specific antibiotic medicine course.
Meanwhile he can take antispasmodic medicine as needed.
Take plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
