Hi, thanks for using Healthcare Magic.

I understand your concern.

The possible cause of this condition is:
1. Phimosis, the inability to retract the skin (foreskin or prepuce) covering the head (glans) of the penis
2. Infection of the urinary tract.

In the above conditions, commonly seen weak or small urine emission, it takes effort when your son wants to urinate, or difficulty or even fail to urinate.

To find out exactly where the exact cause is required extracting history and other symptoms and physical examination, especially the penis to see whether there is swelling or redness or whether the liquid out of the penis or prepuce of the penis hole covering the penis. So you should immediately take the child to see a doctor to be handled immediately.
Yes, maybe a circumcision will help to treat this condition.

Some tips for you:
1. To help reduce the symptoms of fever (if any) and pain, can be given medication paracetamol or ibuprofen syrup is sold freely in pharmacies, and give appropriate dosage recommended.
2. Immediately consult a child to a urologist or child specialist, and report the results of the observation.

Hope this information useful.

Take care,
dr. Nurul Falah
