What Causes Painful Urination While Suffering From Crohn's Disease?

I was diagnosed with Crohns in 2008. Currently I am taking 50mg of mercaptopurine and trying to taper prednison currently on 35mg. For a while I have been experiencing pain during urinating but only at the end kind of when the bladder deflates and my GI Dr said it was associated with Cronhs so never thought anything of it. But in the past couple weeks the pain has been constant whether I'm urinating or not. I went to urgent care and my urine showed no signs of infection. I'm supposed to have ACL surgery in 4 days and just want to know if this pain could be something else that I would need to handle prior to surgery or is it just the Crohns?

Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
You seems to suffer from -Crohn's with Cystitis-from inflamed bowel touching bladder.
Constant pain lately indicates contact with inflamed Crohn's bowel.
This is because the urine reports show no signs of infection.
Other causes as TB Cystitis/Diverticulosis /Ulcerative Colitis in nearby bowel loop in contact with bladder.

So you need not worry about and plan for scheduled ACL surgery on knee.
Hope this would help you to plan further care of this complex illness of yours.
