Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had problems with bladder spasms and sometimes it really hurts to urinate. Lately, I have noticed that sometimes when I urinate, the water is cloudy from the urination.I have had 2 blood tests to see of I had a bladder infection. The results were no. So, do you have any idea what is wrong with me?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Why did you get blood tests done if you have a urine infection? You could have got urine culture and sensitivity done. Cloudy urine indicates a definite infection of urinary tract. To treat the UTI you need to take full course antibiotics like Amoxicillin, Norfloxacin, Ofloxacin or Levofloxacin.
Any antibiotic based on body weight dosage twice can be taken after prescription from any local doctor. Maintain private part hygiene. Wash it after every urination. If you are female then use V wash and Citralka syrup to restore vaginal PH.
Hope this information helps you sort out your problems. If you feel its helpful kindly give me user thanks vote. Happy health! Regards, Dr. Archana
