What Causes Painfully Swollen Foot?

Hi, I have been suffering from severe foot pain for 2 weeks. The bottoms of my feet are swollen and the bones on the top of my feet and ankles feel like they are broken when I try to stand on them. I need serious relief. My doctor gave me an anti depressant and said it would help the pain. I can't sleep or function because of the pain. What is this?

Hello there! I went through your problem there. According to ayurved this is either related with amavatta or uttan- raktapitta. You haven't mentioned the possible cause or event related with this. We will consider both the things.
1) Ammavatta - Here in such pains the cause is related with amma visha
2) Vattarakta- Here the pains are due to the raktadushtee. Proper medication after diagnosis is needed.
