What Causes Painfully Swollen Tonsils?
I feel like a have a piece of chip stuck in my throat, or maybr a chip scratched my throat on the way down? probably judging by the diagram I looked up its in my tonsil is what it feels like. My throat is in a decent amount of pain how do i get it out?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of painfully swollen tonsils which seems to be due to ingestion of piece of chip which got struck in throat and acting as foreign body there. That piece of chip attracting foreign bodies and leads to infection and inflammation of tonsils. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like for tonsillitis strep throat , viral pharyngitis and allergic reaction. Need not to worry. You should avoid intake of cold carbonated beverages and avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. You should get fibre optic scan done and get piece of chip removed. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anti allergic , anti inflammatory and doctor may refer you to cardiologist for bulging vein . For now do warm saline gargles , take off your stress and take benadryl twice a day .

It can be simple sore throat
Use
1. Tab paracetamol for pain
2. Betaine gargles four times daily
This should reduce the pain
If the pain persists take the help of an ENT surgeon..
