What Causes Painless Growth Under The Skin On Right Side Of The Abdomen?
STANDING UP, i NOTICE a protusion in my lower abdomen, right side. It feels like an oval-shape in my lower intestine. Upon laying down on my back it is unnoticeable. Never hurts, not hard to the touch ; sometimes its not there at all. What could this be? Normal feces build-up?
It is not likely due to stool because this would normally be seen on the left side of the abdomen.
It is possible that the mass may be due to a protrusion of fat in the area or due to a mass such as a lipoma (non cancerous). If it is in the inguinal region, a hernia may need to ruled out.
It may be best to see your doctor for examination of the abdomen.
I hope this helps
