Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a lump about the size of a small egg below my knee. It appears to recede some over night and then by the end of the day is back to full size. It is painless and feels mushy. I did fall very hard on that leg about 5 months ago, but didn t notice the lump until a month ago.
Hello. Thanks for writing to HCM. I read and understand your question very well. I try my best to solve it.
As you have lump in lower leg below knee, it may be a fluid sac that through whole day it appear and in night it recede back. My advice if is not big and you have not any symptom due to this than it is ok nothing to do anything. But if you feel worry and it cause some pain or anything else than consult a good surgeon for this and take necessary treatment.
I hope my answer will help you a lot. Thanks and Regards Dr Vijay
