Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Painless Lumps Inside The Anus And Under Foreskin?
Hello i have these white pea sized painless non itchy lumps inside my anus. It looks like theres some mucus aswell. I also have white pin sized bumps on my upper lip and some under my foreskin but theyve been there for a log time and havent changed in size. Could this be a strain of hpv? I recently started smoking cigarettes again. When i quit 4 months ago the lumps inside my anus seemed to have gone away as i wasnt feeling any discomfort.
Lumps inside anal canal could be due to some growth, however, these lumps cannot be due to herpes simplex infection. Similar lumps below foreskin could also be due to some growth or wart. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist for clinical assessment and thus management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
