Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
There seems to be some sort of bump on the inside of my labia? It s really small, like half the size of a pea, It s smooth except when I look at it it has a white dot kind of like a pimple. It feels a little irritated. Is this something to worry about? Will it go away on it s own?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to bartholin cyst. It is due to blockade of bartholin gland secretions. If you send a picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying. It can get infected some times also. If there is any inflammation or pain then you can apply hot fomentation. If it is trouble some for you then you can undergo surgical excision after consulting a gynecologist. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
