Hello,
I went through your query. I understand your query.
Is the swelling is mobile? If is mobile, then it is not attached to underlying tissues. In this case, I suspect
lipoma, a benign condition which caused painless mobile swelling anywhere in the body.
In this case, I suggest you to weight and watch. If the sweeling increases in size, develops pain, becomes very much hard then it's better to
consult a general surgeon. Otherwise there is nothing to worry.
If it is not mobile, increasing in size then it calls for investigation.
If you don't want to take a chance, then I suggest you to go for a USG examination and FNAC. This will confirm what is there inside that swelling. It will help in further planning of treatment.
I hope I answered your question.
You can always contact me for further information.

Dr. Prathap Kumar
