A 58-year old male developed one painless unremarkable ulcer on the vermilion of his lip and three painless unremarkable ulcers on the shaft of his penis one week ago. Punch biopsies were performed. The report noted the findings were not entirely specific, failed to reveal viral cytopathic changes, were negative for syphilis. There was no palpable lymphadenopathy. One ulcer healed on the lip and two healed on the penis with Neosporin Ointment after one week.
