General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
The pale or greyish stool can be caused by various factors such as liver diseases, bile duct obstruction, and certain medications. Blood in the stool can be caused by hemorrhoids, anal fissures, inflammatory bowel disease, and colon cancer. Passing bloody tissue could also indicate a serious condition such as inflammatory bowel disease or colon cancer.
If you have a fever, it could indicate an infection or inflammation. It is important to follow up with your doctor and get the recommended tests, including the camera exam, to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. If your symptoms worsen or you experience severe pain, fever, or dehydration, seek medical attention immediately.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
