Hii Doctor,Please tell m prescription for removal white spots on hands and some parts of legs. But they are not signs of vitiligo..as their is NT ny change in size and dimensions of same spots..but they are faint white...as like some vitamin deficiencys it seems to be..please help for same
I understand your concern. Pale patches over the skin or hypopigentation as called may have a few listed causes, such as Albinism, vitiligo, fungal infection, Pityriasis alba, vitamin D deficiency, if associated with itching and light scales may indicate psoriasis, eczema, etc.
Visiting a Dermatologist or skin specialist is advisable for a physical examination, detailed family history and small scraping of the skin (biopsy) if needed. Treatment is based on the cause accordingly.
Hope this helps. Take care, Regards, Dr Vignan Rachabattuni
