What Causes Pale Yellow Stool?

Hello! :) About a month for about 3-4 days, I was having pale yellow stool. Went to doctor, got blood work to check kidneys, pancreas and liver and stool test for parasites and it all came back negative. Then all went back to normal as far as color as stool. WELL, it has started again and has been yellow since around Thanksgiving. HELP! I don't have any symptoms really. The only thing I have going on is a rash on my chest. I do want to say that I have a hemorrhoid that I got from when I had a child back in 2007 so I don't know if that may be causing issues but not sure.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Pale yellow stools in you could be due to problems in the biliary system (the drainage system of the gallbladder, liver, and pancreas). However infection of liver (viral hepatitis) can also cause reduction of bile production & hence pale stools. Viral fever can also cause a rash on chest.
Actually brown colour of stool is due to bile secreted from liver. Hemorrhoids cannot cause pale yellow stools.

So you should undergo an ultrasound & test for hepatitis by consulting your doctor
