17yo female sick with tonsillitis since Dec 26. Scheduled for tonsillectomy on feb 19. Experienced rapid heart beat sustained for approximately 5 minutes. Felt temporary numbness in right arm- same day but not during rapid heart rate. Incident occurred while sitting in class and had been for 30 minutes. Overall health is good except for related symptoms to tonsillitis. BP 104/76 pulse rate 96. Is this just another symptom of illness or indicator of another problem?
