I have another doctor appointment on the 19th of October 2016, I recently been experiencing heart palpatations. Started where I d wake up a couple hours after falling asleep with my heart pounding out of my chest. Then it turned into something that started during the day. I m not stressed and don t feel like it s anxiety. Two months things were still the same but now added chest pain and panic attack with palps. I went to the er and they caught the heart palps on the ekg. They took blood to check for thyroid problems and everything came back good. I went to another doctor and they did chest X-ray and more blood work to check for blood clots and diagnosed me with costochondritis and prescribed naproxen. I was tender to touch on my chest. During my palp episodes my throat has pressure, kinda feels like the feeling when you are really upset and about to cry. Please help I m a 28 female. I do no drugs occasionally drink and I do smoke about a half a pack of cigarettes a day. Can costochondritis cause heart palps, what is this this throat feeling and what do you think is causing heart palpatations. Also trying to get to cardiologists for echocardiogram
