i have wpw.have known since I was 20.am now 44.at 35 they tried to fix but were unsuccessful, would have to have put in a fibulator, which doctor said I was to young.i am now having blackouts, afterwards my heart beats extremely fast for up to 15 minutes.do you think this is the problem?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I can understand your concern, to be very clear and brief I would say yes this is something we must be worried about. This much long history of cardiac rhythm problem and then getting black out with fast heart beat is definitely concerning, so you must not delay seeing a doctor so that a permanent solution is sought out.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
