What Causes Palpitations And Chest Discomfort After Receiving A Flu Shot?
I am physian from India about 65 year old I received flu shot on 11/28/2017. Yesterday and today I Felt some palpitations with chest discomfort? How common and serious is palpitations or arrythmia after flu shot and what can be done.I am healthy with no dIabetes,Hypertension and any other ailments. I have some mild fever for these two days but cardiac activity is not related to fever(As it is transitory)
It is a very good thing that you had taken flu shot. This gives a great protection against influenza virus. In general side effects are very minimum. But flu vaccine may cause serious side effects especially in young children and above 65 age people. So care should be taken. The symptoms which were formed as a result vaccine will soon subside. So no need of worry.
