What Causes Palpitations And Heart Race When On Adderall?
Hello. I take adderall and my resting heart rate is from 87-96- 116 bpm on the adderall depending on occasion. I have dealt with an enormous amount of emotional distress lately and am 20 yrs old, female, 113 lbs in my sophomore year of college. I just wanna know if I m okay? My overwhelming anxiety lately has made it hard to be at ease on my adderall and has given me disturbing heart palpitations. I used to be so calm and at ease but this anxiety in my living environment is making it hard to cope
Being on adderall at such a tender age is something your doctor needs to think about, if at all there is no valid reason for the prescription i.e.
Adderall can cause anxiety and heart palpitations which sre found to be common side effects. The anxiety can cause lowering of current quality of living and I would strongly recommend you visit your prescribing physician for either a change in prescription or the introduction of medication to control your anxiety.
Best wishes.
