What Causes Palpitations And Heaviness In The Chest?

Earlier this evening, my heart started racing, heaviness in my chest, clammy all over and pins and needles., it scared me. I sat down for about 10 minutes, but, felt very tired afterwards, as if I had done strenuous exercise. I take NO medication, weight the same as in high school. Should I be concerned?
