What Causes Palpitations And Shortness Of Breath In Sleep?

Hii.i m 24 m..in Weight 72 From 3 months i have facing problem of heart beating fast specialy when i sleep in night i suddenly wake up with heart beat fast n shortness of breath.all time i can feel my heart beats in my body it wors when i go to bed. I also notice heart beat gets slow around 60bpm and hard during when i think of sex or during masturbate.. Lots of ecg and echo is done all reports are normal i have also pain in right chest with general day to day activities I have concern with famous dctrs and heart and lungs specialist they all sAy you are normal nothing to worry but still iam facing problem.. What should i do??

Hi,

Palpitation may be caused by heart problems. However if you have been seen by heart and lung doctor and they found you OK, and your all tests are normal then it's very least likely to be a serious issue.

Your problem looks to be very likely caused by panic attacks and anxiety that is one common reason for palpitation in young people.

I would suggest you can seek the advice of your phychiatrist for proper assessment and management. You can also be helped by meditation and relaxation excercises.
