Hi,
thanks for the query. I understand your concern,
Typhoid fever being inflammation of intestinal tract leading to inflammation & scabbing of the lesion... leading to weak digestive system.
So the disease process itself / reduced digestion & absorption of nutrients i , loss of appetite, plus after effect of antibiotics... all of these factors collectively lead to loss of weight after Typhoid fever.
Palpitations are not after effects of typhoid, though extreme weakness may lead to psychological
stress & palpitation/ patients of blood pressure or heart problem may have such palpitations .. You had tested for ECGs &
echocardiogram .. found normal.( Get your blood pressure tested & treated by a physician) .
The feeling of getting fever, pain is also out of weakness.Take rest. Visit your doctor earliest if at all you have relapse of fever
Please have a balanced diet/ take help of digestive enzymes/ avoid physical or psychological stress./ Use vitamin supplements..with probiotics . till you fully recover from the weakness & gain your natural digestion,
Thanks
