What Causes Palpitations, Burping And Feeling Of Food Stuck In Throat?
Hi, my husband is complaining of palpitations, fluttering feeling and feeling like burping and when he eats sometimes a feeling that the food is trapped he is very worried and he has been to a doctor once and was told it was nothing to worry about, does he need to have the camera down to get checked out?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, before thinking about endoscopic study such condition can be managed with PPI (Proton pump Inhibitors) because this could be GERD (Gastroesophagus Reflux Disease) and best drug would be "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg" once in day for six weeks, dose need to be taken at evening time, coffee, alcohol, smoking, spicy food, need to be avoided prior to sleep, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
