I have partial eye redness(only involving the inner quarter of my left eye) for 1 week. It occur after I rub my eyes in 1 morning. But no eye pain, no itchiness, no visual blurring, no other symptoms. I thought it will clear up by itself. But it persist till now?may I know what is going on?do I need any treatment?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Redness of eye after rubbing is a normal phenomenon. You should avoid rubbing your eyes. Wash your eyes with plane water & then use towel gently. However redness can also because of some foreign body gone into your eye. In this case your eye redness will not go on its on & will require examination & removal of foreign body by a eye specialist.
Don't worry you would be fine Hoping your query is solved
