Hi,

The use of antibiotics can cause gastro-intestinal disturbance and lead to increased frequency of stool passage. When stool passes down the intestine rapidly, the bile in stool( a normal component required for digestion and is green in color) fails to get absorbed and altered in intestine. The stool passed therefore, is green in color due to presence of bile.

The passage of small amount of blood in stool could be due to underlying bacterial or viral infection. Since the patient is already on antibiotic which cover possible bacteria that can cause gastro-intestinal infection; that is sufficient to cover the symptoms of bloody stools, vomiting and fever.

Taking Cyclopam will also help, as it is a anti-spasmodic and help with the symptoms. In addition, regular fluid replacement is crucial to prevent dehydration. I suggest using WHO recommended ORS solution( 1 sachet in one litre of boiled and cooled water), prepared at home fresh twice a day taken by mouth.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
