What Causes Passing Of Soft Clumps Of Mucus With Blood Clots In Urine?
For the past two days I have passed soft clumps of mucous in my urine. There were what appeared to be blood clots in side them. Passing them is completely painless and does not affect my flow- I didn't even know I passed it until I wiped. When I wipe there is residual lubrication, but it differs from that which appears if I were to become aroused. I have a history of chronic kidney, bladder and urinary tract infections but I have not had one in several months. I don't know if this could be a contributing factor. Prior to this my urine has been cloudy and extremely pungent each time I urinated. I found no correlation between my diet and these changes. What could be causing this? Is it something that needs immediate attention? If so, which specialist should I see?
