What Causes Patches Of Tiny Blisters With Itching?

My husband has to round patches( about 5 inches in diantere) of small bites, or raised zit like things. that started off red, and grew little heads, like a zit. after applying cortizone to make them not itch, that became red, and the dots in the center of the patches are now black, almost netrotic looking. what is wrong with him?

Hi,
From history it seems that he might be having tenea versicular infection on the partand due to itching there might be having bacterial infection.
Apply triple action cream or anti-fungal cream locally.
Take some antihistamine like Cetrizine or Benadryl to stop itching.
Ok and take care.
