What Causes Patches Of Uneven Redness On Face After Using Face Cream?
I used very cream on my face, after I removed it my face started to get red and burn. Now the second day I have patches of uneven redness all of over my face. Would should I do? I don't want to go to the doctor? Are there any cream or home remedies? And how long will it take to fade away?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain the symptoms seems like there has been Allergic Contact Dermatitis with any of the component of the cream that you applied on face which has caused an hypersensitivity reaction leading to red patches or rashes over the face..
Nothing to worry, it will be gradually resolved. You can take anti-allergic medications like Cetrizine or Fexofenadine [ Allegra]. Applying calamine lotion or a steroid based ointment can relieve by reducing inflammation and soothing the skin. Do cold compresses over the face. If can take 4 to 5 days for the symptoms to improve but in case if there seems no improvement you can visit a Dermatologist for a clinical evaluation and get treated accordingly.
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
