What Causes Pebble Like Stool With White Thread Like Substance In It?
hi i checked my 6 year old daughters stool tonight it looked normal colour all though it looks like pebbles with long white thread hanging from it l, it looked like skin i know what threadworms look like i think and it didnt look the same the white skin/thread was longer abt an inch do you know what this is ?
From what you are prescribing, it might be: - threadworms - fiber, especially if he is constipated or his diet is high in fiber content foods
Please watch for other symptoms: - itching - fever - loss/diminished appetite - fatigue - abdominal pain
and keep monitoring his feces for unusual findings.
If any of the symptoms are present and his feces keeps on with the same structure, should send a sample to the lab and discuss it further with his pediatrician.
