As per your complain and presentation of symptoms peeling of tongue due to eating sour sweets is due to Chemical burns and it is causing sloughing or peeling of the top layer of tongue and at times it can cause sloughing of the mucosa of the inner lips and cheeks .. Due to inflammation there is formation of an inflamed patch causing bleeding.. Nothing to worry as it will be resolved soon.. You should take less spicy and sour foods..
