What Causes Pelvic Floor Muscle Tightness With History Of Cystitis?
29,female, 56kg,5ft 4. Medical history:have suffered from cystitis since a young age. Nothing else major. Since yesterday o have been feeling a tight feeling in my pelvic area like the lowest muscles there are sore. I have been drinking heavily recently and wonder if its related somehow.
Lower abdominal discomfort can happen from infection of bowel, urinary tract or genital tract. If there is no fever, loose stools, dysuria or frequent urge to urinate, just try taking Acetaminophen tablets 3 times daily after food for 3 days. You might be alright by then. If not, we can evaluate further then.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
