Hi, My 8 yr old daughter just began complaining of pain above her pubic bone. The area appears hard and is tender when I apply pressure. She just had a small bowel movement, no fever, and no other symptoms. Is she constipated or should I be more concerned? Thank, Karen
hi i have gone through your daughter complaints.pain in suprapubic area in young girl needs to exclude Urinary tract infections,mesentric lymphadenitis some times appendicitis or ovarian torsions rarely.Go for urine examination and ultrasonogram.if both are normal,nothing to worry.other wise meet the paediatrician and discuss regarding it. thank you regards vasundhara
