What Causes Penis Irritation In A Person Suffering From Epididymitis?

My doctor said that i suffer from epididymitis since November10th 2015.I had bacterim-ds for about 20 days.I haven t recovered completely from testicular pain.I have started to take banocide fortel!Its been more than 20 days now since I have been admistered with banocide forte.I see some reduction in testicular pain.I have the following questions: (i)What needs to be immediately done to stop irritation of penis (ii)How long I should continue to use banocide forte (iii)How long does it take for epididymitis to get cured? (iv)Should I need to undergo any test to rule out the pain/irritation in penis due to any other disease?

Hello,

Banocide forte is used to treat filariasis or infestation with filaria worm. Irritation in penis or during urination could be due to urinary tract infection. I suggest you to get an urine routine test and urine culture to look for any evidence of urinary tract infection (UTI). In case there is any evidence of infection, you will need to take suitable antibiotic.
