What Causes Perineum Pain After Having Intercourse?
I have been lifting weights for about 3 weeks. I had sex a few days ago and two days after had a painful area near the anus between the anus and vagina. When I have a BM it makes the are much more uncomfortable. Had herpes about 25 years ago but never an outbreak since. Concerned, Hemorrhoids or herpes? I know I will need to be examined, but just wanting to ease my concerns.thanks

Well, it may suggest STD so these tests are first thing that you should rule out, if this is negative then you should do colonoscopy to rule out ano-rectal issues.
