What Causes Periodic Pain In The Lower Chest And Upper Abdomen?

I am a female who for the past two weeks experience periodic pain in my lower chest, upper abdomen. The paid appears to be located midline under the cleavage of my breast. It seems to be related to my whole digestive tract as sometimes after relieving myself the pain moves down toward my waist. Any idea as to possible symptoms?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Are you a person who has a lot of stress? Do you have any increase in pain while taking food and hot beverages? Is it increasing while lying down? In all probability it could be a acid reflux. But it's better to get an ecg just to rule out any heart related issue. In all probability the ecg will be normal. Modify your diet. Stop using spicy and too hot food. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate fruits and vegetables daily. And while lying down place your head end a little elevated. And avoid tension and stress if possible. If the pain isn't relieving, we can try some medications
