To help you with your problem you will need to provide far more information about yourself. Are you male or female? How old are you? Do you have any other medical problems or conditions? Ever had any type of surgery? What medications and doses have been prescribed for you? What medications and doses do you regularly take? Do you have any intolerance or allergy to foods or other substances? Do you smoke? Have you ever smoked? How long? Do you live with a smoker?
How did you first come to medical attention with the bladder infection? You imply that you were on a medication and that it didn't. What was the medicine that didn't work and what were you told about it. Have you has these infections before? What types of procedures or treatment have you had in the pt. 't work and what did your medical team replace it with.
A final question is was the x-ray one of your lungs, looking for lung issues or of your urinary tract often referred to as a KUB (kidney, ureter bladder). Pull the treating Doctor aside and very politely but firmly insist on on update in a way that you will understand
