What Causes Persistent LLQ Abdominal Pain?

I am having lower left side abdominal pains. It was really bad a month ago -- May 7th do be exact. Where I vomit numerous times. Then the pain stopped and I was scared to eat anything. Just this past Monday evening after drinking a swallow of Coke Cola in the evening, the pain came back but I did not vomit. And it is hurting now. I do not smoke or drink. After having a bowel movement the pain subsides somewhat but not totally.
