What Causes Persistent Abdominal Bloating And Nausea In A GERD Patient?
I have GERD ,and i try to watch my diet i just eat boiled or steamed food ,i dont take spiced food but still i have this bloating stomach ,sometime i feel nauseated for nothing. Now of rate i eat beef or chicken i feel so sick and i have some spots on my tummy i dont know if it allergy or due to my condition ,the other thing is am soo bloated i feel like my stomach is pushing up my diaphragm also i dont have appetite i just force my self to eat .sometime when i have this condition i feel my arms are an able to even lift a 1 kg weight. kindly help
The diet you've followed for GERD contained limited foods intake with related nutrients. This explains why you feel tired and not able to lift a 1 kg weight. The hyperacidity problems are causing lack of appetite. I think you should get rechecked by gastroenterologist, and start treatment in order to improve your general health. Meanwhile, I recommend to take oral rehydration salts with water and fluids. Plus, should start multivitamin supplement to enhance your immune system. Discuss this further with your caring gastroenterologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
