What Causes Persistent Abdominal Cramping And Diarrhea Even After Discontinuing Atkins Diet?

I have had numerous episodes of abdominal cramping, followed by loose stools off and on for the past few months after being on the Atkins diet for 3 or 4 months. It s not constant but it s starting to affect my ability to function in the work place. I ve stopped the Atkins diet, increased fiber intake, starting taking a daily probiotic but I still have episodes of this approx. 1 a week but it sometimes last for a week or so.
