What Causes Persistent Abdominal Cramps Along With Diarrhoea?

Hello, Throughout the day today, my stomach has been cramping and I have had to use the bathroom a little more frequently then usual. The last time it was diarrhea and shortly after some pain started to occur with the cramping and occasionally the pain goes to the right. I did not know if I should be worried about an appendix rupture or anything along those lines. Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Appendix infection or rupture will not present like the symptoms you are having. It presents as acute abdomen, which is a medical emergency.
What problems you are facing of abdominal cramps and increased frequency of stools is due to GI infection.
Kindly take a course of Ciprofloxacin and Tinidazole tablets. Drink good quantity of fluids. Eat soft and easily digestible food till you get better.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
