What Causes Persistent Anxiety Despite Taking Alprazolam?

Hi, I have fibromyalgia and one of the hardest things to deal with is the anxiety. I m currently taking alprazolam 0.5 mg . I was wondering if there wasn t another type medication that s longer lasting . my anxiety iis really bad at times and what I m currently taking doesn t help at times and I don t like taking extra. Thank you.

if a patient come to my clinic with such an anxiety and panic attack I suggest him usually propanalol 10mg minimum dose 3 times a day for a month.
