Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Persistent Anxiety In Spite Of Taking Klonopin And Cymbalta?
I have severe anxiety. I am currently seeing a psychiatrist and taking 3mg of klonopin and 80mg of cymbalta and I tried a couple weeks ago to stop the cymbalta and the anxiety came back real bad and all I do is cry all day. My muscles and my bladder from tension.
Thanks for your query on Healthcare magic. Your psychiatrist has prescribed you correct medication with right dosage. Since you had stopped taking cymbalta, your anxiety returned. I would suggest you to continue your medication and do not discontinue any medicine without consultation with your doc. If you are not comfortable with any medicine and experiencing side effects then you can switch to alternate medicine after consultation with a doctor. Avoid stress and triggesring factors.
