What Causes Persistent Bad Odoured Vaginal Discharge?

Hello I have a concern. I am experiencing smelly discharge that s been going on for months. I have no itch, no burn, or swelling. I did see a doctor in fact there were like three of them. I got tested for everything. They told me everything was fine and that its normal. I went home still feeling unhappy. So I called to see a doctor again. This time they told me the same thing and prescribed with antibiotics to get rid of the smell. But after taking them the smell still came back within a couple weeks. I don t know what to do. Its embarrassing.

I understand your concern.
Bad odour vaginal discharge without itching or burning or swelling could be due to bacterial infection.
Kindly get yourself examined if there is any retained foreign body inside, if at all you had used things like IUD or Copper T for contraception, and it needs to be removed.
Take a course of Tablet.Metronidazole orally.
Keep the genitals under good hygiene by practicing the following:
1. Wash the area with warm water and rinsing with antiseptic solution like Povidine-iodine twice daily.
2. Use vaginal pH balancing solutions like v-wash regularly.
Gradually, your symptoms should reduce and come back to normal.
